La "gente de bien" está en contra de las FARC, como la mayoría del pueblo colombiano. No hay que ser "gente de bien" para estar en contra del secuestro y de crímenes inadmisibles moralmente. Pero detrás hay cosas reveladoras. Tenemos, de nuevo, una marcha con un gran apoyo mediático contra el secuestro. La cuestión es: por qué cada cierto tiempo hay una marcha contra el crimen del secuestro y nunca una marcha contra el desplazamiento? La respuesta es clara: porque una cosa son 4.000 secuestrados, "gente de bien como nosotros, ala" y otra muy distinta 4.000.000 de desplazados (cifras de la ONU) que, al fin y al cabo, son campesinos, seres inferiores y sucios, gente sin importancia (así lo he escuchado de "gente de bien"...)
Detrás de todo esto hay una concepción feudal de país. Hay "gente de bien", gente de verdad, cuyos derechos (o quizá privilegios?) no pueden ser pisoteados. Y es la "gente de bien" que tiene una buena educación, accede a Internet y puede influir en los medios la que convoca esta marcha. Los desplazados no tienen nada de esto: ni educación, ni acceso a Internet, ni pueden influir en los medios. Es gente que no existe, "invisible", salvo la aparición fugaz en las calles de las ciudades cuando piden limosna para aliviar el hambre. Este es el "encuentro social" entre la "gente de bien" y los desplazados...
Al desafío que plantearon las guerrillas la "gente de bien" se armó: las Convivir, las AUC. Y este fue el proceso que lideró Uribe con la "gente de bien". Las AUC recibieron "carta blanca". Pero no se trataba sólo de enfrentar a la guerrilla. Se trataba también de conservar el "orden natural de la sociedad", que nada en Colombia se transformara. Y por eso había que liquidar a sindicalistas, campesinos, activistas de derechos humanos, militantes de izquierda, homosexuales, "gente que sobra" para la "gente de bien", "gente que ensucia el paisaje social colombiano".
De los mensajes de Uribe y de la marcha se desprende una cosa: hay "asesinos buenos" y "asesinos malos", "criminales buenos" y "criminales malos", sólo para seguir el lenguaje primitivo uribista. Las FARC son bestias, la encarnación de la maldad, asesinos malos. Las AUC son "muchachos" (palabras de Uribe) que siempre quisieron la paz y se vieron obligados a tomar las armas (y las motosierras) para defender a la "gente de bien". Eso mismo dijeron los peores dictadores como Pinochet y Videla de sus "muchachos" que torturaban y asesinaban. Como decía Juan Rubini, el ideólogo argentino de las AUC: "las AUC son el precio que paga Colombia por no haber tenido una dictadura."(!)
Ese es el sentido de la marcha: la "gente de bien" saldrá masivamente a las calles contra los "asesinos malos". Y los crímenes de los otros, de los "asesinos buenos" seguirán siendo invisibles, nadie protestará por ello. Y la tragedia de los campesinos desplazados continuará. Al fin y al cabo no todos los seres humanos son iguales...

soy una estudiante colombiana en la U de Texas en Austin, USA y quiero decirle que me pareció muy interesante su articulo porque creo que refleja la incomodidad que muchos colombianos antiuribistas, democráticos, etc sentimos frente a la marcha.
Sin embargo, me parece que es necesario que la marcha refleje la diversidad de opiniones en Colombia. Porque me da mucha rabia el que la gente de izquierda o de corrientes democraticas en Colombia este condenada a ser silenciada porque cada vez que quiere condenar a la guerrilla y al secuestro se enfrenta con el dilema de tener que hacerlo pagando el precio inadmisible de terminar legitimando a Uribe y a su gobierno. Y creo que es hora de reclamar mi derecho de expresarme contra la guerrilla sin apoyar a Uribe.
Asi que he decidido combatir ese sentimiento de impotencia y salir a marchar con pancartas que no sólo condenen a las Farc sino a todas las formas de violencia en Colombia incluyendo los paras y el Estado. creo que esa es la mejor opcion hasta ahora que he encontrado...

Pero cuando uno observa el gran apoyo mediático y la movilización del uribismo en esta marcha, me temo que será utilizada por el gobierno de Uribe como una especie de referendo popular de apoyo a su política. Gracias Andrés por su comentario. Como veo que usted no cuestiona el contenido de mi texto pasaré a responder sus anotaciones. Yo creo que criticar o cuestionar una posición, en este caso las motivaciones de una marcha, no significa irrespetar. Un irrespeto sería, por ejemplo, sabotear la marcha o impedir que se realizara. Pero este no es el caso. Respeto su realización pero cuestiono la doble moral que percibo detrás de ella. Usted dice que si la mayoría está con la marcha indica algo, pero no clarifica ese "algo". Que una mayoría esté con algo puede significar muchas cosas. Una mayoría puede votar mayoritariamente por un candidato y a eso llamamos democracia. Pero una mayoría puede estar a favor de la eliminación de los judíos y de una dictadura, como en la Alemania nazi. Y no creo que a eso podamos llamar democracia.
Está claro, por lo demás, que si convocásemos una marcha más amplia, no tendríamos nunca el apoyo mediático que tiene ésta. Sería bueno preguntarse por qué, de los 210.000 miembros del grupo de facebook que apoya la marcha, sólo 2.000 apoyan el grupo contra todo tipo de terrorismo. Por lo visto, no todos los crímenes producen la misma indignación moral.
Finalmente, quienes estudiamos filosofía aspiramos a hallar la verdad pero jamás creemos que la poseemos. Eso lo creen las personas que son fieles de una religión. Ellos ya la encontraron. Nosotros no. Por eso estamos dispuestos a discutir en espacios como este blog. Pero sí existen otros que se creen posedores de la verdad absoluta. Desde los tiempos de la Inquisición, los que creen tener la verdad absoluta intentan (a menudo con violencia) "convertir" a los que cuestionan o ponen en peligro esa verdad. Y si no se dejan "convertir" se procede a la exclusión o a la eliminación. En Colombia encontramos muchos ejemplos en grupos que ya poseen la verdad absoluta: las FARC, las AUC, los paramilitares, etc.
Del mismo modo, un amante de la filosofía no se cree más inteligente porque considera que todo ser humano tiene la capacidad potencial de utilizar su razón. Pero otra cosa piensa nuestro Presidente Uribe, a quien su asesor, José Obdulio Gaviria, le atribuye "una inteligencia superior". Y ese sí ha dado muestras de que irrespeta y descalifica a sus adversarios. Pero quizá los que tenemos una mera inteligencia humana no podemos descifrar los misterios que esconde "la inteligencia superior" del Excelentísimo Alvaro Uribe Vélez.
